" me and tom got together a few years ago through an ad in none of the above (a local punk record shop). he was in a band with rich (sigh star sigh) and dave (headkase/kicked in the balls) and they needed a 2nd guitar player and singer. it was rad. kinda like Mind Over Matter. well, i moved to chicago and tom moved to florida but we kept in touch. for the next year and a half we swapped mix tapes and letters. we both moved back to long island sometime in 98 and got back together, but this time with a different drummer (Ken). it wasn't quite what me and tom wanted to do, so he introduced me to his friend, lou, who played guitar. another local band broke up and we stole their drummer, nicole. fast forward 2 years and nicole is abducted by aliens. so we found chris at a show in huntington and stole him away. here we are. "

Their name comes from a chapter in a Clive Barker book called 'Weaverworld'.

 

Tout commence quand jason et tom se rencontrent sur long island, par une annonce dans un disquaire punk du coin. Le groupe de Tom avait alors besoin d'un second guitariste et chanteur, il avait donc fait appel a Jason. Celui ci demenage cependant a Chicago et Tom part en Floride, mais ils gardent contact par courrier, jusqu'a ce qu'ils reviennent tous deux à long island en 98. Ils decident de rejouer ensemble, avec un premier batteur (Ken). L'affaire ne dure pas. Tom propose à un de ses amis (Lou) de les rejoindre, et Nicole rejoint elle aussi le groupe apres le split de son groupe. ON THE MIGHT OF PRINCES est né. Malheureusement Nicole les quitte en 99 et c'est donc Chris qui tient la batterie actuellement.

Leur nom vient du titre d'un livre de Clive Barker intitule "Weaverworld"
